Refund Policy
Last updated: September 18, 2026
All sales are final — no returns or refunds
Drug Test Kits does not accept returns or provide refunds, exchanges or store credit for change of mind, including for unused, unopened or sealed items. Defective items are replaced, not refunded, unless applicable law requires a different remedy.
This final-sale rule applies to unused, unopened and sealed products as well as opened products. It includes ordering the wrong item, drug panel, configuration, pack size or quantity; duplicate orders placed by the customer; no longer needing a product; and finding a lower price elsewhere. It does not apply where the issue results from our error, a misleading product description or another circumstance giving you a legal right to a remedy.
Please check the product description, intended use, panel configuration and quantity before paying. If you are unsure, contact us before placing your order. We do not offer a satisfaction guarantee or a trial-and-return period.
Product integrity and hygiene
We cannot resell testing products once they have left our control, even if the packaging is unopened or the seals appear intact, because we cannot verify their storage and handling history. We therefore do not accept them back for resale or offer change-of-mind returns. This is our product-integrity policy; it does not remove your statutory rights.
Order changes and cancellations
Check your order carefully before submitting it. We do not offer discretionary cancellations or refunds simply because you change your mind, including before dispatch. Contact us promptly if you notice an error; we may be unable to change an order once processing has begun. This restriction does not affect any cancellation right provided by law.
If we cancel an order or cannot supply an item, we will refund the amount paid for the cancelled item and any associated amounts required by law.
Defective items — replacement only, subject to law
Our standard remedy for a confirmed defective item is a replacement, not a refund or store credit. Contact us as soon as reasonably possible so we can assess the defect and arrange a replacement. If we supplied a damaged, incorrect or misdescribed item, contact us so we can correct the problem. This replacement-only policy is subject to applicable law and any express written warranty: where a refund or another remedy is legally required, we will provide it.
Please provide your order number, a description of the issue and, where reasonably available, photographs and the lot or expiry information. Retain the packaging if safe to do so. A request for information must not prevent you from exercising a statutory right.
Your statutory rights remain protected
Nothing in this policy excludes or restricts rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be waived under Ontario's Consumer Protection Act, 2002, applicable Sale of Goods Act protections, or other applicable consumer-protection laws.
Depending on the circumstances, these protections can include rights concerning defective or misdescribed goods, unfair or misleading practices, qualifying late or non-delivery, and failures to provide required information or a compliant copy of an online agreement. The legal conditions and time limits for the particular right apply. There is no blanket 14-day-from-purchase cutoff for statutory claims under this policy.
Any legally required refund will be made within the time required by law and will include all amounts the law requires us to refund. We will not deduct a restocking or administration fee from a statutory refund where prohibited. Applicable rules also determine responsibility for return costs. Ontario law does not displace mandatory protections that apply to customers in other jurisdictions.
Contact and return instructions
Use our contact form, call 1-866-218-4913, or write to Drug Test Kits, D-122 Commerce Park Dr., Barrie, ON L4N 8W8, Canada.
Contact us for safe return instructions and a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA), where a return is appropriate. Do not send used test devices, specimens or contaminated materials through ordinary mail. An RMA helps us handle a return; it is not a condition of giving a valid statutory cancellation notice or exercising a legal right.
This version applies to orders placed on or after the update date. It does not remove rights or promises attached to an earlier purchase.
